26-year-old Caviar director David Vu is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting creative voices of his generation. From TikTok fame—where his choreography for Doja Cat’s ‘Get Into It (Yuh)’ and Pop Smoke’s ‘AP’ lit up global feeds—to directing and starring in his surreal visual for Lil Simz’s ‘Gorillaz’ (which racked up 1.5M views and a repost from the artist herself), Vu continues to blur the lines between movement, music, and storytelling.
Most recently, he paid tribute to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘N95 Paris’, as well as a directed a high-profile campaign for the Galaxy Z Flip7, marking a significant step into the commercial world. Fusing cultural fluency with an avant-garde aesthetic, Vu is redefining what it means to be a multidisciplinary talent in 2025.
Vu joins the likes of Kasra Farahani, Mario Clement, and Eliza McNitt in ENID’s latest new work newsletter.
