Acclaimed director, Darren Aronofsky’s 1998 debut, ‘Pi’, is set to return to cinemas for the film’s 25th anniversary on the 14th March, in a remastered version which will screen exclusively in IMAX theatres. The film will be released in an IMAX one-day only event, preceded by a live Q&A with Aronofsky and a number of cast and crew members, including cinematographer Matthew Libatique, Sean Gullette, and other special guests. Shot in high-contrast black-and-white on the streets of New York City, for a modest budget, the multi award-winning film – which became a cult classic – stars Gullette as an obsessive mathematician, whose discovery of a mysterious 216-digit number puts him into conflict with a sinister conspiracy, his own body, and the wrath of God.
