CANADA London director Gerson Aguerri teamed up with Iris London to create a series of films for Adidas Football.  The films showcase the new range of Copa football boots, and feature football stars Lionel MessiLuis Suárez and Paul Pogba, as well as football YouTube channel stars, Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch, known professionally as The F2. JAKE NAVA directs music video for MASTERCARD

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Having recently picked up the Icon Award at the UKMVA’sJake Nava directed a film for the latest campaign for MasterCard, through McCann NY, continuing the brand’s long-running ‘Priceless’ campaign.  Just ahead of the Grammys, and featuring Grammy nominated musician SZA, the campaign showcases six emerging artists whose stories of overcoming challenge embody the sentiment behind the movement, shining a light on how passions like music and sports can help people overcome obstacles and pursue their dreams, transforming  adversity into strength. The film’s centrepiece is a cover of Willie Dixon’s song ‘You Can’t Judge a Book by the Cover’.  

Nava has also recently been shortlisted in the 3rd Quarter of The One Show Awards, for his film Circles‘, shot for denim brand Levis.

Director Paco Cruz has recently received 5 stars on David Reviews for ‘The Pony’, his short film for Jacobs Coffee. Lisbon based Cruz holds two Cannes Lions for his celebrated ‘Bad Barista‘ commercial, and has previously received 5 stars on David Reviews for his piece ‘Daydreaming‘, for Adagio Skyr.

CANADA London have recently signed Spanish director Miguel Campaña to their roster. A versatile and fluent storyteller, Miguel has shot skilful advertising campaigns across Europe, South America and the USA, for clients including Land Rover (above), JacobsDGTMcDonaldsAudiVodafoneESPNHP, Coca Cola and Mastercard, along with the first Spanish Jaguar advert to come out of Spark44‘s office.

Directors Remi Weekes from Tell No One and Paco Cruz have joined ENID through John Hassay‘s new company SELECTA. From a background in Fine Art, Remi has become a director of substance in both narrative and breathlessly believable post creating notable work with Nick Knight for Showstudio, and in the celebrated film ‘Mine‘ for Nowness (above). Director duo CANADA have been awarded the Best International Alternative Video at the UKMVAs for their music video for ‘Up All Night‘ by musician Beck. Director Alessandro Pacciani has recently won Best Commercial Film for ‘Beginnings‘, his short film for Acura NSX, at London Motor Film Festival. He has also released his latest piece, ‘Getaway‘, for Mercedes AMG.

5 stars on David Reviews for ERIK MORALES

Director Erik Morales has released his two latest pieces, ‘The Extraordinary Journey: Tea‘ and ‘The Extraordinary Journey: Coffee‘ for Taylors of Harrogate. They aired last Tuesday night on Channel 4 during The Great British Bake Off, and have received five stars on David Reviews.

The first piece advertised their new range of flavoured teas, with a mixture of animation and live action that explore the journey of the tea leaves to the box. The second pieces showcased their range of coffee, with similar styles and techniques used again, and with both commercials using vibrant colours and an element of contrasting comedy that is consistent Morales’ style.
