FLORENCE KEITH-ROACH features in new series ‘The Great’

The much-anticipated series from Oscar-nominated writer Tony McNamara (‘The Favourite’), ‘The Great’, debuts on Hulu Friday, May 15. Featuring Snapper Films’ Florence Keith-Roach, the satirical comedic drama follows the unlikely rise and spectacular reign of feminist trailblazer Catherine the Great, the longest running female leader in Russian history. The series also stars Elle Fanning as Catherine, Nicholas Hoult, Phoebe Fox, Adam Godley, Gwilym Lee, Charity Wakefield, Douglas Hodge and Sacha Shawan.

Florence Keith-Roach is a director, writer and actor working across theatre, film, television and commercials. Her most recent short film, ‘A Family Affair’, which she wrote, directed and stared in, has been a triumph, just premiered in Sydney and is still picking up accolades, which include Best British Comedy at Discovery Film FestivalBest Of The Festival and shortlisted for Best International Short Film at Inside Out Festival Toronto, Best Of The Festival  at Palm Springs Short Film Festival, honourable mentioned for Best Performance in a Short Film at LOCO Film Festival, triumphed at the London Film Festival, awarded for New Talent at Ciclope (only UK talent to be awarded in this category). The short film was also screened The First Film Fight Club in London, together with Mike Leigh’s directorial feature debut, followed by a Q&A with both directors.
