Chris Fowles’ most recent project for Pride In London started as a personal research about how life has changed after lockdown. The film was shot in one evening, in South London, with a small crew and under Covid-19 regs. Against the backdrop of the London skyline, what at first seems like two friends discussing lockdown, turns out to be something very different. Fowles started film-making at a young age, and in 2011 was invited onto the prestigious BFI National Film Academy scheme, subsequently being named as one of the nation’s most promising filmmakers. In 2014 Chris was long-listed for a BAFTA for his short film ‘Sleeping Dogs’.
