CANADA directs new campaign for Mercedes – Benz

CANADA’s Nicolás Méndez directs new global campaign for Mercedes-Benz to promote the brand’s first electric SUV, featuring Grammy award-winning singer The Weekend. The artist appears in the film soundtracked to his new single, ‘Blinding Lights‘ and is also creative director on the project. Méndez is known internationally for acclaimed pieces, such as El Guincho ‘Bombay’, Phoenix ‘Trying to be CoolBeck ‘Up All Night’ (nominated for Best Music Video at the Grammy Awards), and Rosalía ‘Malamente’ (Best Pop International Video and Best Director at the UKMVA’s), amongst other MV work, as well as commercial films for brands that include AppleCravendaleCadbury’sBudweiserChupa-Chups and Huawei, to name just a few.
